Why do traditions that never met keep arriving at the same place?
Because each was following something real. For thousands of years the same recognition kept surfacing in places that never met: Hermetic philosophers opened with the All as Mind, Christian contemplatives pointed to the kingdom within, the science of mind described reality answering to inner state, and quantum physics found the observer woven into the observed.
None of these traditions copied the others. They had no shared words, no shared century, no shared teacher. And they still arrived at the same place. When that many honest searches end up pointing the same direction, it stops looking like coincidence and starts looking like the truth showing through.
You have probably met at least one of these languages already, in a church pew, a physics class, or a book that found you at the right moment. Empire of Light exists to hold that recognition open. Not to flatten the traditions into one, and not to keep the equations while losing the poetry, but to lay them over one another and let the single, luminous structure rise out of the overlap. The same light runs through all of them, and it leads home.
The traditions were never arguing. They were standing in different places, describing the same mountain.
The method
What is Perspective Geometry?
Perspective Geometry is the frame that holds the many traditions together. The name means exactly what it says: every honest viewpoint is treated as a real position, not a rival to defeat. No single window sees the whole, and the truth is what you find by holding all the windows open at once.
This is why inclusion here is not a slogan. It is accuracy. Naming every tradition as a real window on the whole, rather than a rival, is simply the honest way to study something this large. No one is asked to abandon their own language to find the shared one.
Held as a chosen way of seeing, never asserted as final fact, the discipline stays practical: you keep your own window and learn to look through the others. The whole geometry is drawn into the Sigil, the emblem of this work.
No window is the right one. Each is a real view of the same vast thing.
The founder
Who is behind Empire of Light?
Empire of Light was founded by Chris McMurray. He is not a guru, and he would be the first to say so. He is a builder and digital operator of more than twenty years, in a career that started in real estate, moved into websites and digital marketing in 2007, and ran through ecommerce, content, automation, and software.
Most recently that work moved into the self-improvement and conscious-creator space, and the pattern this project rests on kept surfacing across all of it. If you have ever watched the same truth arrive from two directions that never met, you know the feeling. After years of it, the honest thing to do was to map the pattern openly rather than keep it private. That map became the Wisdom Wheel, the six-house frame this site is built around.
The authority here is not a wall of credentials. It is the depth of the work itself, which you are welcome to inspect, and the years of practice it took to make something this layered feel simple. You can read it for yourself in the Journal of Insights.

What is Empire of Light trying to do?
Build the map in the open, and give it away. Empire of Light gathers this body of knowledge, names it, keeps it honest, and teaches it at every level, from the first curious step to a lifetime of study. Picture the whole map spread open on one table, free to anyone who reaches for it.

Is Empire of Light a religion, or does it ask me to believe anything?
Neither. Empire of Light belongs to no denomination and asks you to adopt no belief. It honors many traditions, including the contemplative heart of Christianity, and studies the common ground beneath them. No window is placed above the others, and what the work means is yours to keep.
Is the science settled, or is this a claim that science proves the traditions?
No. Empire of Light does not claim that science proves the ancients, or that ancient wisdom proves science. Science is honored as one lens among many, never the yardstick. This is pioneering work that posits ideas openly and adapts as more perspective arrives. The honest claim is quieter: very different languages keep describing the same structure.
